1. We'll Sweep Out The Ashes In The Morning – Gram Parsons – Emmylou's verse is perfection and I streamed the extended GP on Spotify (yeah, more later) and it sounds real good. Even the added tracks.
2. Long Way To Go – Alan Jackson – Alan owes Jimmy Buffet a high five for this Margaretteviile rip. Not that it's bad, it is very good. But then, cmon, it's Alan Jackson.
3. Defying Gravity – Glee Cast – Actually, it is Chris Coffer. The great falsetto improves everything he touches.
4. Nineteen Hundred Eight Five – Paul McCartney – Highlight of his knockout Yankee Stadium gig."Sake it don't break it"? Ha!
5. Los Poderes – Rita Indiana Y Los Mysterios – Great EP track pre the album. Everything is already in place and she should have added it to the album. It is absolutely good enough.
6. Still Feeling Blue (Alternate Version)- Gram Parsons – No back up, taken a beat faster, and Parsons is holding himself back. Still pretty fucking awesome.
7. Winnie The Pooh – Zooey Deschanel -and M. Ward – The woman was made for this. She should make a career of it.
8. Career Opportunities – Off the live at Shea and age is showing. It is a bit like listening to Paul Anka singing"Diana" -the moment had passed it by. On Sandinista they re-recorded it with a children's choir. Now that worked.
9. Air – Hair Soundtrack
10. On The Good Ship Lollipop – Tiny Tim – What a wonderful sweet ship I'm on…
