Really what other band conjures up images of keg parties and bongs? The late 70's and 80's were so damn ugly.
I present to you the infamous "Wheel In The Sky", first off WHAT THE HELL IS HE TALKING ABOUT? I have never seen a wheel in the sky nor do I suppose it really exists. Steve Perry whines like a woman and has hair to match. The vocals are so annoying and redundant that its a wonder I can function long enough to hear it once.
This band was a staple on my FM stations during high school. I'm cant believe I survived those days. Wasn't Randy Jackson of American Idol fame a bassist at one time for these fools?
Journey had a rebirth with "Don't Stop Believing" sung til my eyes bleed on Glee. Cute enough I suppose but really nothing holds a candle to the genius of the "Wheel In The Sky". "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'", and "Oh Sherry" really makes helps elevate Journey to the crappiest American band fo the decade.
