Unreleased and Leaked, The White Stripes

Sexy dark and dangerous…

I love The White Stripes and I seem to be the only one here who does.  Its a lame 'leak' when Jack Whites record company 'Third Man' is doing the leaking but I'll take it just the same.

"Signed D.C", by Arthur Lee fits Whites voice perfectly.  I believe its a song about a pathetic has been junkie…so its a good fit really.  The drums are solemn (hi Meg!) and the lyrics distinct.  I dig it:

Next up, "I've Been Loving You Too Long", again has that solitary snare and bass drum action from the adorable Meg, and Jack plucks away in a rockabilly sorta twang. This is an Otis Redding standard, and I'm not as big a fan of this one as the other.  I think this may be a bit more self gratifying than entertaining but meh, its still White Stripes so its still cool.

There is one thing for certain, Jack White is madly and truly in love…with himself.  This isn't a bad thing but it does give the general population the impression that you're a dick.  A talented one of course, but no one likes a smuggy.
