Gwyneth Paltrow opening for Beady Eye with a cooking talk

This is a big WTF I guess, how do you feel about a cooking lesson before your favorite band? According to NME, Gwyneth Paltrow warmed up Beady Eye’s gig at London’s Roundhouse on July 5th, with some cooking talk.
Paltrow, who just wrote the book ‘Notes from my Kitchen Table’, hosted her little thing during the iTunes Festival, and supposedly ‘explored some of the themes of the book as well as discussed why cookery has become such an important part of her life’, just before Liam Gallagher’s band hit the stage.

Is there something this woman cannot do, errr pretend to do? She acts, she sings, she cooks, she is the perfect mother who wants her kids to learn Greek and Latin,… wow
And she has a website Goop.com where she exposes her perfect lifestyle in all possible directions, cooking, traveling, clothing, gardening, meditating, parenting, dieting, healing,… should I continue? Make, go, get, do, be, see are the gateways to her absolutely fabulous life.

This is what she wrote when she launched her website in 2008:
‘My life is good because I am not passive about it, I want to nourish what is real, and I want to do it without wasting time. I love to travel, to cook, to eat, to take care of my body and mind, to work hard. I love being a mother who has to overcome my bad qualities to be a good mother. I love being in spaces that are clean and nice.’

Look, I have nothing against her, but do we need another of these celebrities to advice us on how we should live our life, someone who can afford to take a private jet to stay in a top hotel in Marrakesh, or eat in a four-star restaurant in Paris? Her life is good, sure but she is a rich princess, apparently not really aware of everyone’s reality.

I wonder who got the idea to have her cooking show opening for Gallagher’s band, it’s a little bit weird, isn’t it? The iTunes Festival is a music festival! But as long as Liam is Ok with it.
