Bad Religion's Compiliation To Celebrate Bob Dylan's 70th Birthday

Bad Religion’s Brett Gurewitz recently tweeted that the band was currently recording a Bob Dylan’s cover for an upcoming compilation, which will both celebrate Dylan’s 70th birthday and Amnesty International's 50th anniversary.

Rise Against has already recorded ‘Ballad of Hollis Brown’ for the same compilation, since Tim Mclirath felt passionate about the lyrics, and explained:

‘I’m kind of a born-again Bob Dylan fan, I’ll be honest, I grew up in a punk rock/hardcore world where it wasn’t cool to listen to folk music, so I’m just now discovering a lot of amazing artists. Bob Dylan was one I passed on in the past, but now I’m digging into his catalogue and really appreciate his stuff.’

There are no words yet on any other artists involved in this compilation nor on a future date of release.
