I just saw her at Make Music Pasadena on Saturday June 18th, but Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino never rests, since the following day she was with Drew Barrymore, who was directing her video for ‘Our Deal’, a song from her ‘Crazy for You’ album.
This is what she revealed to Rolling Stone magazine about her meeting with the actress: ‘I met Drew Barrymore after a show in L.A and we ended up talking about how we could work together. So she’s going to direct a video and Miranda Cosgrove, Chloe Moretz and Donald Glover are all going to be in it. It’s got a very cool concept, which Drew came up with.’
So Drew Barrymore is a Best Coast’s fan, and she probably met them backstage after their recent show at the Music Box in Hollywood.
Bethany tweeted a few behind-the-scene pictures of her with Miranda Cosgrove and Chloe Moretz in a mysterious location, which seems to be a sort of warehouse.
I really have no problem imagining Drew Barrymore and Bethany Cosentino together, the two women seem made for each other, but why a video for a song which is already one year old when Best Coast has new ones?
