1. Saturday Night Special – Care Bears On Fire – I saw the band play an awesome version of this Runaways cover at Mercury Lounge earlier this year. Despite being just into their teens, they are a real good punk rock band. This version is not as good but it ain't bad.
2. Charlie Brown – The Coasters – From the first line thru the horn interruptions. to the Carl Gardner declaimer, a superb novelty song. Best line? "Who calls the English teacher Daddy-O?"
3. That Was Then, This Is Now – Mickey Dolenz and Peter Tork – A highlight on Thursday, the post-Monkee hit they were aiming for… in 1986.
4. I Saw A Ghost (Lean) – Black Lips – Breakthrough number sounding an awful lot like the Black Keys. Great riff.
5. Nothing But Love – Brian Wilson
6. Echo – Bad Meets Evil – Who is the chick on the chorus? Liz Rodrigues of the New Royale and she crushes it.
7. Runaway _ Kanye West – May well stand as Kanye's greatest moment, he shoulda released a three minute clean version and had it propel the album to the stratosphere. Can't wait for the Pusha T album.
8.La De Da Di – Doug E. Fresh And Slick rick – Beat box beats the best
9. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall – Coldplay – Long Term Artists? Not bad, but we will see.
10. Last Friday Night – Katy Perry – OK, this makes two undeniable songs off the album, maybe three.
