Legendary composer and performer Randy Edelman brings his extraordinary catalog of film scores and pop classics to Nassau County’s historic Bellmore Movies & Showplace on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 8:00 PM. The show is presented by JD Sarantokas.
The Bellmore Movies & Showplace, located in Bellmore, NY, is Nassau County’s last remaining single-screen theater — a beloved Long Island landmark that has become a premier destination for live performance events alongside its celebrated film programming.
The evening promises an intimate, up-close experience with one of Hollywood’s most prolific composers. Edelman’s film scoring credits include some of the most iconic soundtracks of the past four decades — among them The Last of the Mohicans, Ghostbusters II, Kindergarten Cop, Gettysburg, Billy Madison, The Mask, and Dragonheart. His score for The Last of the Mohicans earned him a Golden Globe nomination , and his work as a songwriter has produced enduring standards recorded by Barry Manilow, Patti LaBelle, and The Carpenters.
This performance comes on the heels of a remarkable run of live appearances for Edelman, who has been connecting with audiences in intimate concert settings across the country and is slated to headline Carnegie Hall on December 19, 2026 for his third appearance at the famed venue.
