So we know a little bit more about the concert of the summer, as some call it, which will bring Rage Against the Machine, Muse, Rise Against, Ms. Lauryn Hill (The Roots were first announced then replaced by Ms Hill), Immortal Technique, El Gran Silencio, together on July 30th.
It is gonna be huge since it will be at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, yes the one which hosted the Olympic Games in 1984, and which is now mostly used for Football games.
Unfortunately for you Rage’s fans, Tom Morello recently denied that the band is planning to record a new album:
‘Right now there are no… You know, the band is not writing songs, the band is not in the studio. We get along famously and we all, you know, intend to do more Rage Against The Machine stuff in the future, but beyond sort of working out a concert this year, there's nothing else on the schedule.’
But right now, all you have to do is to get tickets, as they will go on sale Friday May 13th at 10 am and will be priced from $69 to $99 plus fees.
