Lady Gaga's video Judas

This new Lady Gaga’s video for her song ‘Judas’ is plain ridiculous. You’re gonna say it’s easy to trash Gaga, but come on, if she wants to be outrageous she has to try more than this!
What were her intentions with this thing?
Jesus and the apostles as a motorcycle gang with their names on their back? Not even original, has been done since the 60s… A Latino Jesus with an African hairdo who is wearing his thorny crown as it were a baseball cap? Not even shocking… Gaga as a biker-chick-Mary-Magdalene and a thousand of outfits from Halloween bride of Frankenstein to mid renaissance-mid decadence in 5 minutes? Done and redone so many times… a bath with Jesus and Judas and some feet-washing, and so what? Is this supposed to be offensive because it is a religious rite? A lipstick gun? I actually laughed at that one, it was so gagadiculous.

And there are these stereotyped dance movements seen a million times before, this awfully auto-tuned music. The video seems like a bad version of a 80s disco video, a cross between the zombies in Michael Jackson’s Thriller and one of Pat Benatar’s oldies.

She is not even doing anything scandalous, anything sexual or blasphemous, she is too busy being Lady Gaga showing up her 9-inch painted nails, so where the controversy will come from? What kind of scandal could even rise from this ineptitude?

The video should have premiered on E! Thursday night, but, too bad, it leaked the same morning on the internet, and this is what Gaga said to MTV about it:

‘I will tell you now, first off, I'm Christian, and my career is evidence of God in my life, and I think that most people are already thinking that Gaga and the blasphemy and they're premeditating the approach and I think they'll be very shocked to find out how huge and really groundbreaking the message is and how freeing the message is for all the right reasons, And it's really going to shock the world.’

What message? What groundbreaking message? That she cannot choose between Jesus and baby Judas? What shock to the world? I don’t get it, and don’t get me started with the ‘my career is evidence of God in my life’.
