I never listen to Blink 182 and I don’t know if I want to try listening to them after this, but I must be wrong since people in Brighton England seemed to have a lot of fun. Best Coast covered Blink 182’s ‘Dammit’ on Monday night and it was enough to start a riot and some crowd surfing… Look at them, they were so happy! And they even did a stage invasion at the end of the song.
Bethany sings it close to the original from what I can tell with my poor experience of Blink 182. It’s kind of faux-punk, but from all the songs she could cover why this one?
Err…. Could it be because Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 gave them a huge push-up when he wrote for Spin Magazine and featured them as his favorite band last September? Just check out this link:
