My Chemical Romance: Die With Your Mask On

If you're a My Chemical Romance fan with their new album, you know about Battery City and the Killjoy world.  This 'concept album' is a tour through the post apocalyptic world.  Each song connects to the next to weave a story of good vs evil in a brave new world.

As a member of the MCRmy and a proud Killjoy, I keep up to date on the band I know and love.

The last chapter of the story was "Sing", where the Killjoys were dead.  Now, I've been waiting for the next video involving them so I can see if they truly are gone.  The band was asked a question on this topic, here's what Gerard said:

" 'Bulletproof Heart' we're actually still talking about, and we're not definitely sure yet if it's going to go back to that world.  Actually, I think that's almost cooler to stretch it out as long as we can, because, again, the story is so not important. The things that happened in those videos are really just metaphors for the way we saw the world, or stuff that really happened. Everything from hanging out with this crazy kid to getting shot in the head to all this stuff, it's all metaphorical.  I like a gap [in the story]; I think it should be a gap," he continued. "And then I think that when you do get that final part, when the right song comes along, I don't know that it'll make perfect sense. It's not supposed to."

All we can do is the hope that the Killjoys are still alive- the story is great and so unique.
