Alexander Ebert, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros’ frontman, recently released his solo project, a self-titled debut album, and has just made a video for one of the songs ‘A Million Years’.
The track is one of these I-want-to-hug-everyone songs, the-world-is-wonderful-place anthem, beautifully illustrated by the video where Alex becomes one with nature, his face is the mountain, his beard the forest, his skin the sand… Communion with nature, or seeing signs in it?
With a folky, bouncing feel-good melody, it's a double pleasure for the ears and the eyes, and the music is so upbeat, so nature-bound, it can put anyone in an optimistic loving mood.
