I don’t fall for the hype of crap of the upcoming new release. I have spewed enough about how stupid it is to see pictures of the band in the studio, and the ever spastic track list. For the life of me I can’t see the benefit of the song names being revealed.
"OMG they’re going to have a song called “One Day Hurray”… yeah I just don’t have it in me to consider that a teaser to build excitement.
Maybe if it were 40 songs or something then it would be enticing but simple titles, nope
I have to say I am going to be obsessed with this one. The Devil Wears Prada front man Mike Hranika got a mad scream out of me when he hopped on stage at The Worcester Palladium with A Day To Remember. To be honest with you I pretty much made an ass out of myself with the random screech of surprise.
Why was he in Massachusetts? Recording!
So now it’s time for the hype machine to get going and I have jumped right on the band wagon. It’s rare that I will but The Devil Wears Prada holds a very dear place in my heart.
The band combines every element of quality music from the strong lyrical storytelling to the powerful force of the musicians backing vocals. I have nothing negative to say about them. Live they have won me over a million times and no matter the venue I have always walked out feeling like I saw a really big show.
I actually watched the teaser video of the band at studio and it worked. It got me psyched for November which is when the anticipated release date to 2009's "With Roots Above and Branches Below" is set to drop
I want titles and song leaks and pictures and band tweets! Oh, and Secret Shows and Mega Tours! I'm way to excited and November is really far away.
New Devil Wears Prada on the horizon, bring it on!
