Exciting news out of brooklyn.
In an exclusive interview with those boring bastards at Pitchfork, Kid Cudi let slip that he has been writing songs with Conor Oberst and, get this, Paul Simon, for a supergroup called Bridge To Mesopotania.
Cudi told Pitchfork, "I'm a big fan of both guys. I recorded a version of an old Simon song," He is referring to "5o Ways To Record A Song", "And Paul's son love's my shit."
Don't expect the results till sometime in 2012, Simon is on tour and is following that with a Garfunkle reunion, and Conor is playing around the world with Bright Eyes. Kid Cudi is working on a new album.
"We've been talking March 2012 in Omaha for the actual recording. Sony will be handling marketing and distribution."
