We all know the LCD Soundsystem shows at Madison Square Garden sold out faster than anyone could ever have imagined. I know someone who will be there, but I will not. Late on board as a fan I am doomed to the 'never seen them live' category now that its official they'll call it quits.
Has anyone found out why that's occurring yet? Has anyone called James Murphy and said 'yo, seriously reconsider?'.
If you have his number I would gladly give it a shot cuz really someone should.
For those of you in the same boat as me Pitchfork.Com somehow snagged the rights to live stream the show. For this I am insanely jealous and I don't really like mentioning other sites cuz no site really matters but ours.
In this situation its about the music, so I will let you know about it Saturday April 2 (8pm?) at pitchfork.com you can sit with me and pretend your at the show while Iman is actually there doing a mad dance.
I can do a mad dance as well but luckily it will not be live streamed. Promised to be a nearly 3 hour production with 'special guests' and NY punkers Liquid Liquid opening its a don't miss if you don't have to.
Did I mention its a one shot web cast never to be repeated? I feel a DVD coming on though…
