I don’t think Billy Joel snorted anyone’s ashes. I doubt highly that there is anything that gasp worthy about the Piano Man”. On June 14, Joel will release his memoir titled “The Book of Joel”.
The book is called “serious and reflective memoir of his life from early hard times to top-of-the-world successes, including the ups and downs of romance (and his marriage to Christie Brinkley, for whom he wrote “Uptown Girl”), his personal insights on fatherhood, and reflections on both the joys and the burdens of superstardom. This book will captivate you as one of the music world’s greatest storytellers”
Why would you want to read a book on Joel by Joel? Doesn’t his music tell you enough? I could see if there was a drama behind his life but really hes just a guy who drank too much and got famous. I don’t consider myself a fan per se but I do really like some of his work. I guess a die hard fan would want to read this but the casual music fan, not so much.
I prefer his musical stories. “The Stranger” paints such vivid images.
