There is a pathetic underbelly to the world that makes me pretty much insane. Seems a big trend is robbing bands and with our own Woody Fuller on the road with Shinobi Ninja this hits a little too close to home.
Core band Vanna had their trailer stolen while inside a recording studio. Happens I suppose people steal, be careful all that jazz. Its the bands statement that hit me hard:
“If it wasn’t bad enough that we weren’t eating well while recording, having our gear and our trailer stolen while recording the record was icing on-the-nonexistent-cake,” laments vocalist Davey Muise. “We are very bummed out, but did not let it affect the way we recorded the album. We created this special shirt in hopes that we can raise enough to get a new trailer. We are hoping people will help by buying the shirt.”
We’re talking the locks were snapped and the trailer just heisted. Some bands designate someone to sleep in the trailer. I think in the midst of the ‘show’ people don’t realize that if you’re in a van, you ain’t in heavy pocket. You’re earning less than minimum wage in conditions of a migrant farmer.
