RADD Partners With CBS Radio At Outside Lands And Jam In The Van To Promote Responsible Drinking and Road Safety

Untitled 2

Outside Lands is almost there, it’s actually happening next weekend! and if you live close to San Francisco, you should not miss this 3-day festival… Me? I am not going, I am too busy in Los Angeles with Echo Park Rising and the FYF fest, but festival goers should be aware of events organized by RADD (Recording Artists, Actors and Athletes Against Drunk Driving) the entertainment industry’s voice for road safety.

RADD will take responsible drinking message to San Francisco with a double activation at Outside Lands and Jam in the Van’s San Francisco, artist house. Jam in the Van will feature ‘The RADD Zone,’ an interactive lounge designed to engage with artists and guests in promoting road safety & responsible drinking at Lennon Studios. Artists will support RADD’s message of responsible drinking with on-camera shout outs and via social media, and according to their Facebook page, there will be performances by The Soft White Sixties, Midnight North, Valley Queen, Love and the Zealous and more!

RADD’S ‘Plan Ahead’ campaign will partner with CBS radio stations’ Live 105 & Radio Alice, broadcasting live at Outside Lands. Live 105 will have a giant size Jenga game; Radio Alice will offer a RADD sponsored temporary tattoo lounge, games and prizes. And you even have a chance to win a Guild Guitar and VIP tickets to attend Jam In The Van’s After Party on Saturday, August 8, just go to @CollegeIsRADD or Facebook.com/CollegeIsRADD.

Jam In The Van is located at San Francisco Artist House, Lennon Studios, 271 Dore Street, San Francisco, CA 94103 (415/575-3636- @jaminthevan)… so don’t miss out, this year, Outside Lands headliners are Elton John, Mumford and Sons, The Black Keys, Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar, Wilco, Tame Impala, D’Angelo and the Vanguard and so many other artists. Would you bet on a duo Sam Smith-Elton John?
