Jann Wenner, Antichrist

Rolling Stone: So, while I haven’t seen his books, I would sure guess that Jann Wenner is in some trouble at Rolling Stone. Sure the Will Dana quitting had to do with a serious editing lapse of judgment, that wasn’t true of David Fricke (has he written anything recently? I don’t think so) and absolutely the downsizing of movie critic Peter Travers from Senior Editor to contributing writer. Apparently this one got nasty with Travers furious at Jann pinching his pocket. Of course, it’s a buyers market in the writing world  and apparently somebody has awaken the sleeping skinflint.

Recorded: YES!!! It is a new week of new music  finally. And not a bad one, the new Titus, Samuel Claiborne, and Mynabirds are fine, even Atlanta bad biys Migos aren’t bad, but let’s leave the hosannas for Buddy Guy’s great Play Guitar.

Live: U2 have their last show at MSG tonight and we bid them a fond goodbye as they go about their business fleecing honest men like yours truly by selling $75 behind the stage nosebleed seats. Apparently, we are one but they are a little more one than we will ever be.

Facebook: Mark Zuckerberg’s wife is pregnant again after a miscarriage. The story here is all the money in the entire universe can not protect you from life. Life will catch up with you and nothing can protect you except time and chance. Congrats.

Sports: Yanks have lost two in a row… that’s it, our lives are over.

Dog Bites Man: Trump has history of racially charged statements.
