WEEK SIXTEEN

Sports: I dragged myself to Citi Field and froze myself to death in order to watch the Mets win their seventh in a row, now up to eighth as I write. Impressed? You will be… Meanwhile, the Nets have made the playoffs and I am holding off buying a ticket to Eric Clapton’s birthday in case the Rangers make the second round. A sure think more like a struggle now the series is even up and home field advantage is lost.

Recorded: Two killer albums, the Michael Jackson Latin Tribute and the Amy Grant Jesus troibute. Both worth your time and then some.

Live: This is the quietest month in the quietest year I’ve had ithis decade, the one show I had planned was cancelled due to illness -his not mine.

Politics: Hillary Clinton running for President? Haven’t we seen this show before?

Golden Slumbers: The great Percy Sledge may be remembered for only one song, but he will be remembered for that one song forever.

Awards: The rock and roll hall of fame gives both rock and fame and halls a bad name.

Charts: Finally, “Uptown Funk” is on its way down. Good news? The bad news is that awful Wiz Khalifa song replaced it.
