
1 – Baywatch – Drug Cabin – Sounds like soft rock put through a hot tub time machine and replanted into 2015, and I mean that in the nicest way possible, sickly sweetness and medium tempo prettiness, but like the man said, it can make graves – B+
2 – Room 32 – Future Brown – This is as strangely lovely an r&b track as you will ever hear, with a careful flow rap integrated as the singer and rapper play off and against each other – B+
3 – Research – Big Sean, Ariana Grande – The odd couple join together on a bonus track, and it is a really good one, the target an ex girlfriend… sung by a present one on the chorus? ha – B+
4 – A Kiss Goodbye – Emile Haynes – Devonte Hynes AND Charlotte Gainsbourg? This is Mark Ronson for manic depressives – B
5 – Broken Talk – Gang Of Four – The Kills chick kills it and the guitars are less furious and more slipped out top of the fret stuff – B+
6 – Copper Canteen – James McMurtry – I really haven’t bought into this literate Americana -it is all so tasteful – B-
7 – Invincible – Kelly Clarkson – A rare misfire but a complete misfire – C-
8 – This Probably Won’t End Well – All That Remains – Closer to hard rock than metalcore, it is still a smart rocker with an emo lyric – B+
9 – Hunger Of The Pine – Alt J – Their best song, the reason I am going to see them in March – A-
10 – Feel the Lightning – Dan Deacon – Very very impressive electronic pop music with hint of House and a dollop of very good beats – A-
