After the opening night party at the Music Box ‘The after Grammy Jammy’, which will feature celebrity talent and artist performances (The Little Death, Blaqstarr, Sean Garrett, Ben Hunter, Naughty by Nature, Jessie and the Toy Boys, DJ Mia, Dan Morrell and some special surprise guests), the two following days are packed with sessions animated by producers, A&R contacts, music website founders and CEOs of all kinds of music-related businesses, and workshops with artists, songwriters, or authors of best-selling book and DVDs.
On the 15th, there is a ‘Artist on the Verge Finals’ night organized at the famous Roxy on the Sunset Strip, and Shinobi Ninja, a band Woody is tour manager for, has been selected as top 3, and has even received the headlining spot for the evening, sharing the night with Nylon Pink (ReverbNation Contest Winner) and Mike Del Rio.
NMS had started in the 80s but was discontinued in 1995, before being revived in 2009. Woody will be sure extremely busy these 3 days discussing music business, debating new ideas,.. and we wish him the best of luck with Shinobi Ninja!
