Congratulations to Muse on the stupidest quote of the year, perhaps any year, Muses drummer said:
“We got some big white balloons, threw them into the audience and decided to focus the lasers on them. It was like a slow burn that gradually disintegrated them into nothing. We all thought, ‘What the hell will our corneas be like in 20 years?’ We could end up like that amazing vocal group the Blind Boys of Alabama – getting around doing it really well but not seeing anything.”
I don’t know where to begin with this one… no wait yes I do:
1. Muse could get sticks and poke out their eyes and blind Boys of Alabama would be better.
2. I can’t bear this band.
3. What is it with UK bands like Coldplay, U2 (no they’re Irish… no wait… they are Universal) complete inability to check their ego at the door.
4. I hate U2 more than Muse.
5. If they think they’re going to be blind, why don’t they not use lazers??
6. Did I mention I hate U2?
