Kent Garrison, the keyboardist for the ever-talented Forever The Sickest Kids, has left the band. A sad day for music is what it is. FTSK’s addictive beats and electronic embellishments in their songs are what made me love them the most, and now it’ll never be the same. Here’s Garrison’s leaving words:
“Just want to let everyone know that my days of touring with FTSK have come and gone. I’m ready to pursue other opportunities in my life and am very thankful and blessed to have been a part of the band. Nothing anyone can do or say can change what we accomplished in such a short amount of time, and I’ll cherish those times forever, but for now, I’m excited for what God has stored up for me for the rest of these years on earth. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and to anyone who will continue to support me. I love you. Kent”
I wish him luck on his future musical endeavors. I’ll miss the old FTSK lineup, and who knows? Maybe now they’ll get even better…or worse… Regardless, it’s a change fans will have to get used to.
Goodbye, Kent. However, you’ll forever be one of the sickest kids.
