As I have already mentioned it, Grouplove has a free Monday residency at the Bootleg theater for the whole month of January.
Every time, there is a different band opening for them, but, for January 25th, a mysterious band was just advertised as ‘special guest’, on the Fold website which is booking the show, and there was an expected $20 charge… an indication that this guest had to be very special indeed…

Today, they have revealed that Cold War Kids will join Grouplove for their last residency at the Bootleg.
The Long Beach band will be playing in support of their new and third album ‘Mine Is Yours’, which will be out the same day, January 25th.
The Bootleg has quite a small capacity of about 200 people, and last time they played, Cold War Kids filled up a much bigger theater, the Wiltern theater, so it will be a unique occasion to see them in a very intimate place… I bet tickets are gonna fly!
