The MJ Dog And Pony Trial Begins: A Saddening Mess -by Alyson Camus

If you are a Michael Jackson fan, you know about lawsuits and trials, and it is not because he is dead that the circus should stop.  Here in LA we are in the middle of another episode of the saga, as local TV channels were showing the arrival of the whole Jackson family at the court yesterday morning in downtown LA. And outside, the freak show had already started with fans dressed-up like the pop icon showing signs asking ‘Justice for Michael’.

The hearing for Dr. Murray has started, and so far, this is quite damaging for him.

On Monday, David Walgren, LA County prosecutor, said in his opening statement that the evidence will show Murray ordered a bodyguard to help him clean up evidence and waited at least 20 minutes before calling 911. Then, at the hospital Murray never talked about the Propofol to the doctors.

Michael Amir Williams, Jackson’s assistant, declared Murray called him before calling 911 whereas the king of pop was lying on his bed, motionless!

He also said something so stupid, I could not believe it: Once at the hospital, Murray told him to remove some cream from the bedroom because Michael Jackson wouldn’t want the world to know about it! Yeah, he was dying, but what matters the most was to remove the bleaching cream from the bedroom drawer, as if nobody was aware he was bleaching his skin!!!

On June 19th (Jackson died the 25th), Kenny Ortega, Jackson’s producer and director, sent him home from rehearsal because he thought he was not doing well, and he said Murray was upset about it, as the doctor pretended Jackson was fine.

On Tuesday, Faheem Muhammad, one of Jackson’s body guards, said he was in the bedroom after Murray noticed Jackson had stopped breathing, and was trying to resuscitate him. Then Murray asked if someone knew CPR??

What? a doctor who does not know CPR?

On Wednesday, Alberto Alvarez, Jackson’s director of Logistics testified that Murray asked him to remove bottles, an IV bag from the bedroom and to put them in a bag, and this before calling 911. Law enforcement believes the IV bag contained Propofol.

When Alvarez entered the bedroom and saw him laying without moving, Murray told him Jackson had an allergic reaction.

Later in the afternoon, an Emergency Medical Technician said Jackson looked like he had been dead for a long time when he arrived. However, Dr. Murray was claiming to feel a pulse and was not pronouncing the star dead yet.

I’m gonna say the obvious, this trial is such a waste of money and time. Of course, the doctor was trying to hide any evidence of anesthesia,… to put someone in a coma (because this is what anesthesia is) six times a week is obviously very dangerous and not what a doctor should do on a daily basis. Jackson was a wasted man addicted to a powerful drug and Murray, the drug dealer, was very probably paid a large amount of money to apply Propofol.
On the other hand, Jackson was fully aware of what Murray was doing, it is not as if he was a victim.

The prosecutor expects the defense to say that Jackson killed himself by self-injecting the drug! Yeah, right, even after death, everything related to Jackson is a saddening mess
