Honestly, the outcome of this story is totally fucked up, there’s no other way to put it! I can’t say I have sympathy for any side in this whole thing but I don’t like the result at all. A few weeks ago, some guy insulted Kim Kardashian on a parking lot after ‘helping’ her to escape paparazzi, she immediately called Kanye West, who ran to her rescue and beat up the kid (he is only 18 years old) in the waiting room of a Beverly Hills chiropractor. The disturbing thing is that this stupid guy called Kim Kardashian a ‘nigger lover’ as well as other racially charged slurs, and now TMZ is reporting that West had to pay him $250,000 in a civil settlement!
As much as I can’t stand Kardashian and anything related to her pointless life of luxury, hairdresser and manicure visits, this is so wrong. Realize what happened, a random guy, at the right place and at the right moment, insulting a celebrity and getting rewarded by a large amount of money for this? He probably knew that he didn’t have to push very hard on the West button to get a reaction, and he milk the cow! Could it be the next move for kids out of summer jobs? Waiting for edgy and very rich celebrities on parking lots, screaming some insults (preferably racist or homophobic), getting a good beat-up (that’s the bad part) and cashing a quarter of a million dollars? It seems way too easy! But West is also an idiot for reacting every time someone is shouting something at him, will he ever learn?
I couldn’t find out how bad the beating was, and, when I think about it, all this sounds a bit fishy! It is a bit weird that nobody is revealing the kid’s real name, may be he was paid by some tabloid or paprazzi? Who knows? In any case, this starts a precedent without any doubt.
