– Someone has to do something for myspace, either make it disappear completely or fix it! Every time I visit a myspace page, there are ads blocking the way, my browser becomes crazy, it’s horrible. I know nobody is using it anymore because bands have bandcamp now, so let’s fix this mess!
– Ticketmaster has to stop taking huge fees to sell you a concert ticket: There are the Service Charge, the Building Facility Charge, the Processing Charge, the Shipping Charge, the Will Call Charge,… they are thieves, not even ashamed of it, and people should riot!
– Music Awards: how many are there? I have lost count, let’s see there are a couple of American Country Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Grammy Awards, MTV Awards, …. I cannot list all of them as there are much more. Let’s simplify please.
– Artists who are pretending to have a charity, should give all the money they are raising to the charity, for real: for example it was revealed that U2 gave only 1 % of its fund to his anti-poverty foundation, ‘One’. That’s a terrible shame!
– I don’t understand the price of music anymore, last time I bought an album it was only $3 on Amazon, most people download it for free, and record companies have to find a way to fix that mess. May be people don’t care anymore about owning the music, may be what they want is just streaming the songs?
– People have to stop saying vinyl is the best thing ever, it’s an old medium, it gets scratched, it takes a lot of space and it is not a progress rather a thing of the past. I wonder whether people will be nostalgic about CDs in twenty years…
– Concerts should start earlier, around 8pm would be so nice! For most of the concerts I went to this year, the headliners took the stage around 11:30, or even midnight! I need my sleep, please!
– No ticket pre-sales for privileged people who own an American express card! And no VIP by the same occasion!
– And since we are on the concert subject, venues that don’t allow cameras should review their policy because it’s stupid: anyone can take pictures and films with their iPhones and cell phones are always allowed, so?
– Rock magazines should stop saying ‘we pick the 10 best albums, the 20 best songs you did not hear this year’, it’s condescending and who do they think they are? I don’t wait for them to find about new music.
Ok, I am probably asking way too much…
