rock nyc fave Christopher Paul Stelling ends his excellent year, which reached an apex with a performance at Rockwood Music Hall nobody who saw it will forget soon, with a visit to daytrotter’s studio The Horseshack in downtown Rock Island, Ill.
The five song set is excellent, beautifully, played, Chris’s guitar like ringing a bell, and it includes, “Flawless Executioner” and “Mourning Train To Memphis”, perhaps Chris’s best lyric ever. These two songs among the best folk numbers you’ll here this year. One of em is probably the best.
