My Fave Tracks, Monday, December 6th, 2010 -by Iman Lababedi

1. Chu-Chi Face – Various Artists – Off the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang soundtrack, it turns full gooey love sinister it its intensity. The entire movie is a scary take on carnal love as such an overwhelming force it displaces familial love.
2. The Prodigal Husband – Tim Kasher – On some of the songs off his solo album, you can feel the spirit behind the Good Life and Cursive lurking. But on this song what you can feel is the songwriter as story teller singing of infidelity and breakup. You can’t help wonder how much is autobiography so wonder, because it is a lovely song and it doesn’t even matter.
3. Black Sheep – Suckers –  Their biggest hit is a by the numbers indie rocker plus multi layered vocals Pretty good as these things go.
4. Sometimes I Cry – Eric Benet – Lil Wayne tweeted that this was a must hear back when he was in jail. After all the crap Eric got for cheating on ex-wife Haile Barre, all took was one song to rehabilitate him.
5. Echo – r. kelly – This isn’t the only killer on last years album, merely the best.
6. Put Your Money On Me – Ronald Isley and T.I. – Ronald sounds gorgeous, best man standing.
7. One Mo’ Gin – D’Angelo
8. Start It Up – Lloyd Banks – Vrooms a lot, doesn’t go far enough.
9. Good Things – The Dangerous Summer – Good guitars, good vocalist, good song.
10. Secrets – Ramona
