Chiodos doesn’t need Craig Owens.
Chiodos will be just fine without him. They will not sound the same. Their ‘vibe’ will be different, but front man Brandon Bolmer, is gonna be just fine.
Why? Cuz hes not trying to be Craig. Most importantly he doesn’t have to be. His voice is cleaner, he can enunciate more clearly, he’s not a “smiler”.
What I found most cheesy was Owens cheesy smile. It never really fit. It was rather peppy Leave It To Beaver for the genre. Tattoos can only make you so cool.
This new video for the song ‘Caves’ is lame. Its not really showing anything of value but its a nice image I suppose. Wheres the damn cave anyway?
I am very much looking forward to seeing what I consider to be the ‘new and improved’ Chiodos on this go round.
I do want to see D.R.U.G.S, Owens new band. I like them too but I’m excited that Chiodos can be a bit rougher now.
Now we just need a decent video to show that.
