My Fave Tracks, Friday November 19th, 2010 -by Iman Lababedi

1. Sincerity – Miggs – The highlight of their live concert is a stunning classic rock ballad. Best thing about  it? the back ground vocals where the ineffable is pained moans.
2. Do You Wanna Play – Scott Krokoff –  This is a playful blast of energy wrapped in an AOR Top 40 movie, if it was the mid-70s. Like Van in pop mode without the voice.
3. Flying High (Feat Zac Brown) – Kid Rock – Zac Brown are born to morph every artist they touch into Jimmy Buffet. A first spin of Kid Rock finds him suffering from a surfeit of Rick Rubin. Like T. Bone, Rubin has to learn to stop being such  a serious fuck. However, here is the exception. Enjoy.
4. Knocked Up – Kings Of Leon – I haven’t figured out a response to the buncha bleating sheep at various KOL fan clubs, but I will. On the other hand, this song was one of three good moments at MSG (“Crawl” and “Fans” were the others). Deserves its six minutes plus.
5. Woman – Delta Goodrem – This is what Brett Easton Ellis loves? Ugh. “I am a woman, a woman with a heart” -not if that American Psycho gets his scalpel on ya.
6. Flow – My Pet Dragon
7. Pass Out – Tinie Tempah – Groupies knocking on his Mummy’s door? Oh dear, oh dear.
8. Worm Tamer – Grinderman
9. Raining Men – Rihanna – With Minaj. oooh, fun.
10. Double Dutch – Hilly Eye – Still listening to this song
