Saturday was the sixth year anniversary of one of my personal fave rappers, Ol’ Dirty Bastard of Wu Tang Clan, dead day.
One of the straight up best performances i’ve ever seen was ODB trashing Ut 97 at Summer Jam, “Why are we hear?” He asked. “They never play our shit”. Every member of the clan was on stage and you still couldn’t take your eyes off ODB.
His son, Boy Jones, who also goes by Young Dirty Bastard, remembers his father eating clams! And covers his songs. And is on foodstamps. “”Some people be just hating a lot. [Saying] ‘He’s not like Dirty … He’s trying too hard to be like Dirty.’ ” Jones countered with, “It’s in my blood … he’s my pops.” MTV.com reported.
Well, we wish YDB the best and if he sucks? His father had a coupla hundred other kids so i’m sure somebody got the right jeans…
