Watching Ricky Gervais pretty good but somewhat sacharine movie 2009’s “The Invention Of Lying”, I noticed Elvis Costello singing Cat Stevens “Sitting”.
“Sitting” is a pretty good, Stevens by number, but Costello ups the angst level thru the fucking roof. I don’t know how he could bring so much intensity to a song that demans a slow build and still pull it off.
