Metalcore band Every Time I Die is in a heap of big trouble and its sorta funny.
See they were tweeting quotes of praise for their new dvd but from big named celebs.
Quoting front dude Keith Buckley:
“We were using every bigwig that came to mind: Sarah Palin, Oprah and so on. But we realised that in order to make it somewhat believable maybe we shouldn’t take such an extreme. So we went for people like Pee Wee Herman and critic Roger Ebert.”
So how did they get caught? By using Kanye West, seems that got re tweeted and the whistle got blow that it was a fake. Kanye is a joy kill.
Its a pretty cool idea and in the world of the rogue Internet I’m rather surprised it hadn’t happened earlier. I’m also disgusted in myself for not thinking of it first.
So they may have to go to court, maybe pay some fines. Maybe Kanye should quit being such a narc and let it roll.
After all its just good clean fun, right?
