Best Coast Is Amped -Alyson Camus

The video is filmed in a park where a Quinceañera (a Latino party celebrating a 15 year old girl’s birthday) is happening. Ok and so what? A scene of every day in Los Angeles, a bright sun drenched day, some fresh grass, balloons, and BBQ in the park, and this is enough to make a video? That’s true that her so elaborated lyrics would have had a hard time to inspire a great mise-en-scene.
I got it, I am way out of her target audience, teenagers in love, 90210 soundtrack material, but this is so flat and uninspiring I don’t see why they have even bothered releasing a video.
