Geldof’s philanthropic life has been one of great giving and great humbleness. From Band Aid to Live Aid, he and Midge Ure actually organized the music world and actually got funds to their destination.
Imagine that- accomplishing what you’ve set out to do.
He was knighted, he was interviewed and called Russel Brand a ‘cunt’, smacked the Church, smacked Ireland.. and well the man has alot to say and some damn strong opinions.
I respect men who are articulate, who speak their opinions (even if crass) with conviction and confidence.
I admire Bob Geldof, and although disgusting when you shaved off his eyebrows in ‘The Wall”, still an all around cool dude.
