Eric Idle Has His Cross To Bear -by Helen Bach

Comedy and music go together like ham and cheese. No wait, wrong post.

Comedy or parody music goes back way back for me anyway to “Hello Mother Hello Father”, thats about as far as I can go.
There were songs like ‘My Ding a Ling” which I think were the double entandre type humor but really not my cuppa.
“The Streak’ was one, that was more redneck humor I think. The 70s had alot of them none much appreciated by me.

Adam Sandler did some great ones for the holidays. Its really not Thanksgiving with out the Turkey Song and Im a freakin vegan- still cracks me up. I think its the creativity that goes into it.
Sandler is a master of comedy rock. Eddie Murphy did it, even Steve Martin did it (with banjo!)
Although Weird Al keeps the 9 year old boys in stitches, well he just plain doesnt do it for me. Its too dumbed down.
But Monty Python? They were masters of all they did. I loved the Flying Circus I thought they were hilarious and their lack of reverence was art in motion.

As shown here.

See atheist agnostic or bible thumping cowpoke. Eric Idle on the cross is an instant win. He’s cute too.
So I present this to you today, watch it with a plate of Spam, Spam Spam Spam eggs, sausage and a heaping dish of Spam.
