Myspace may be dead, but the bands are still comin’. In Her Own Words, suggested to me by my friend Finn, and I was blown away. The more than incredible 5 piece unsigned California natives really know how to make good music.
I am absolutely, totally, in love with “Brand New Me”. It’s so…perfect. It’s catchy and upbeat, and has the exact right amount of “pop punk” if you will, along with the “hardcore”. Bryce’s voice is flawless- maybe it’s the name? Absolutely beautiful, and the hardcore makes it unique and interesting.
“Don’t Give It Up” is my favourite song on iHOW’s Myspace by a longshot. It’s definitely the singing that makes it so good. I just can’t get enough. The whole song just gives me chills. I’m more than impressed.
I am so in love with this band, this genre. I’m so happy my Finn suggested these guys! Check them out and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
