I dont like Green Day and I’m not afraid to say so. I have called them punk rock with training wheels. I have called the old men. I stood my ground and refused to attend a show witha comp ticket based on principal. Im not going to see a band who cant seem to evolve.
So imagine my horror to admit their new song…
kicks ass. Billy Joe is actually singing with his diaphram and not out of his nose. The music is intricate and modern. Even in this amatuer video its there. I can feel the energy I can almost feel excitement.
Im not being preached at by a pompous manchild. Im being rocked. I’m gonna call this a rarity. A one shot but I’ll listen for more when their ready to release it.
