Gotta Check Out: Gallons To Ounces by Woody Fuller

You gotta hear.. Gallons to Ounces
This soulfully, funky, rock group, based out of Rockville, MD, all met battling against each other during battle of the bands in high school. Six years later all playing for the same team, they have combined the best of the best and formed a really rocking group. They might not look it from their pic, but these guys are the real deal.
Vocalist/guitarist, Matt Cummings, really caught me off guard when he started belting some soulful sounds into my head, I was a little blown away actually. While combining elements of jazz, blues, and soul into their funky rock n roll sound really giving music lovers a unique sound not heard to often within the younger generations, but provide confidence for the future.
“The System”, one of their funkier tracks, expertly incorporates some very true to the area sounds, adding some go-go beats to the mix; which leading up to a very awesomely mellow solo by Andrew Griffin on the bass.
These guys have some very good tracks, with some great sound, and whenever I start my upscale, 5 star restaurant, these guys are 1st on the list to be our house band, with an encore set once the bar opens up. They have been playing around the DC area, so if you are ever down there I would highly recommend trying to catch one of their sets, at least to catch Cummings seductively sung lyrics, I think I might already have a crush on him just from listening to their songs on reverbnation.com/g2o
