So NeverShoutNever! released two new music videos for his new songs “Piggy Bank” and “Lovesick”. So let’s have a look.
“Piggy Bank”
The boy sez:
The music is good, it sounds much different from his other songs, those I’ve heard. It’s a good change- I like the banjo playing. As for the video, it was trippy- too many colours. It was odd and a lot of changing and the video didn’t make any sense as to what the song was about.
The Magpie sez:
The song’s phenominal, and I love the direction he’s going in- especially his voice now. It’s beautiful. For a while he fell into the ditch of Abercrombie-pop-mainstream sort of genre, but he’s getting out of it and it’s fantastic. The video seemed a bit unusual, like it wasn’t meant for the song, but regardless, it’s colourful and looks like he’s having fun.
“Lovesick” video,
The boy sez:
I didn’t like the music, it’s not my genre. The mood of the video and the way Chris made everything look fit the song very well considering it’s a sad song. He looks like Justin Bieber in that video.
The Magpie sez:
Wonderful song, heartfelt and sincere. The video goes along very well with it and we really get inside of Chris’ head. Completely agree with that Bieber thing.
