Tra La La Indie Label Seems Pretty Fucking Great To Me by Iman Lababedi

OK, Alyson wrote about Moses Campbell the other day, and I guess his record company heard about it and decided to follow rock nyc.
There is no faster way to get my attention and so I decided to check em out.
First, as the name of the website suggest, we are very nyc centric. I, personally, believe NYC is the center of the Universe and anybody who would dream of living any where else have only themselves to blame when we laugh loud and hard at them. I mean, shit, there are more great clubs on Ludlow Street only then the whole of LA combined (I exaggerate, but you get the concept).
And every day Alyson finds another LA band to teach me not to be so self important.
So let me return the favor and mention Moses Campbell’s label mates Free Moral Agents: a beautiful and intense art rock project that never lands where you might want it to but always lands on its feet. The complaint is that the lead singer chick is a cool customer -maybe, but it translates well on record. The rest of the band can folk weird and rock weird and bass weird and vibes weird and it is all out there but not that far out there…
Maybe it’s the sun that makes em so bizarre, they’re so light it is blinding.
