Vampire Weekend Play Tiny Concert in London October 15th, 2009

As anticipation reaches if not fever pitch definitely kinda hot pitch for the new VE album, Contra, to be released nearly exactly two years after the debut, VE went to London to play a tiny gig at King’s College (“like playing for Grandma” said VE according to ME). The gig started with a new (well year old) song I just adore “White Sky”. Here’s the url for it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsPviLdz47E.

Though plagued by sound malfunctions and Ezra Koenig nearly losing his voice, Ezra was apparently happy with the results.

Here’s the set list:
‘White Sky’
‘Holiday
‘Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa
‘I Stand Corrected’
‘M79’
‘Cousins’
‘One (Blake’s Got A New Face)’
‘A-Punk
‘Run’
‘Campus’
‘Oxford Comma’
‘Mansard Roof
‘Horchata’
‘Walcott’
