Lessee, at the Omaha benefit Concert For Equality the following happened:
1) Conor grew a beard
2) He took rock nyc’s advise from last week and reunited Desaparecidos. Andmay I just note I am the only writer I am aware of , anywhere, who recommended he did this in a post before he did it.
and
3) In what appears to have been a flat out masterpiece of a concert (it is streaming on Consequence Of Sound), he unveiled a breakneck, helter skelter, all out rocker like we haven’t heard since, i dunno, “”I”ve Got A Reason # 2” -the boot version with the thumping keyboards , that was my fave song of 2008.
it is called “Coyote Song” and except for the boycott -which is still lame, good for Conor. He should bring Desaparecidos to town. I’d love to catch thats et live.
