1. I wrote about Bonnie Baxter’s industrial size beats a little a coupla days ago after catching the top half of her band Shadowbox’s performance at Piano. And I am being to stalk Shadowbox’s myspace page and am days away from writing a major post about them.
2. Eliza Doolittle is the nineteen year old wunderkind dance meister, etc. I have heard a coupla songs and loved them, her sophomore album broke big in the UK (but what does that mean? Her Auntie and immediately family bought it?). And when the album drops here I’m gonna be all over it.
3. Feriel Lababedi – Don’t blame me. My sister in Manchester sent me her demo tape. I told her I don’t have a cassette player and so she needed to either change format to CD or mp3 or I couldn’t listen to it. The blasted woman mails me a cassette deck. So I will get to it before the end of the week but here is my sight unheard review of the born agains songs: a little samey but sweet natured enough. We will see!!!
