As we are all waiting for the release of the upcoming Arcade Fire album, the 8 different covers have been revealed for ‘The Suburbs’. Each one is supposed to reflect a different suburban neighborhood, with different backgrounds, wooden fences, houses, trees.
I am not sure what exactly is the point of this, forcing people who still collect albums to buy 8 of them? And the differences are not that important, I mean the album covers are really not different enough to want them all!
Some websites say the album covers will be picked at random when ordered, so it seems you will not even be sure to get the one you want!
Anyway, kids download and don’t care anymore about album covers.
