So, we have kept you informed of the happenings related to the brutal assault of Mathew Leone, bassist for Madina Lake.
The band had a previous commitment to tour Europe in August.
Word is out today that the tour will go on, and that Matt will not be replaced.
Brother and bandmate Nathan says:
“We’re going to commit to playing the tour, and we’re not going to hire a bass player to fill in. Instead, if it’s possible, we’re going to have Matthew record his bass tracks at home, then run them when we play live.”
“We don’t anyone to take his place – so if he can pick up a bass, he’s going to play his parts.”
I pray they can make that work.
Its a gallant effort with great heart behind it. I’m hopeful. Another astonishing act of kindness from a band with a huge heart.
