Nick Cave On The Small Screen- By Alyson Camus

Beside being the musician, songwriter and actor we all know, Nick Cave is a writer and his second novel ‘The death of Bunny Munro’ is going to be adapted into a TV mini-series.

I have not read it but it is described as a dark novel about an out of control trip of a salesman and his son after the suicide of his wife. Well another murder ballad?

Apparently there is also a serial killer involved in the story and dark humor, which has lead the critics to compare it to Flannery O’Connor, Stephen King, Bret Easton Ellis, Cormac McCarthy, Franz Kafka and Benny Hill!

He said at the Dundee Literature Festival he originally wrote the story as a screenplay, so it is a just return to his first intention.

And now Iman, what are you waiting for?
